India will take on Bangladesh in the second T20I of the three-match T20I series at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Thursday. They will try to equal the series by winning against a confident Bangladesh who chased down a total of 149 in New Delhi.

It was Bangladesh’s first win over India in the shortest format, and the put up a great show there. On the other hand, India had a dismal show in every department. They need to improve in all three departments. Openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul need to step up in the beginning.

Even in the bowling department, the pacers need to show some consistency. It was Khaleel Ahmed who hit for 18 runs in the penultimate over by Rahim, which actually sealed the deal for Bangladesh. Krunal Pandya, who dropped an easy catch near the boundary which could turned the table in that game.

Yuzvendra Chahal, however, did well. "There is no pressure. You know there are three matches and it's a bilateral series, not a knockout format," said the leg-spinner on Tuesday.

For the visitors, it would be all about maintaining the winning momentum. Their spinners gave a tough time to Indian batsmen and are expected to carry forward the form in Rajkot. In batting, Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Naim both step up with a well-made partnership and built the foundation on which Mushfiqur Rahim worked on and took the side to the finish line.

"We have come here to compete in each and every game. As long as you are playing consistent cricket and improving in each game -- that is our main goal. After winning this game, we are surely looking forward to winning another game; hopefully, the next game," said Mushfiqur after the first game.

It will be interesting to see whether Bangladesh will win the series or India will bounce back.
